It Don't Get Any Better Than This?

My fishing buddy called me early this morning and told me to come and get my new boat.
I'm like,"What do you mean?"
He says;"Me and my girlfriend talked it over,and we want you to have the Smoker."
I said,"But,I,don't have any money."as I know he wanted $2000.00 for it.
He says that didn't matter,just pay me as you can $1700.00.
So now I'm the proud owner of a 4year old 12'Smoker"V-hull" with an 8hp Mercury,2 anchors,4 rod holders.On a nice trailer.
I,still think I'm dreaming.I've spent alot of hours in this boat already,and loved it for all inland waters.It's an ideal 2 man fishing craft.
I'm so excited,I,can't beleive it is in my yard.

He's taken me so many times,that's a given.He said thats why he wanted me to have it.So he could still use it.He still has 3 other boats,but decided he didn't have room for this one anymore.
He is a great friend,and turned me on to alot of fishing trips that I couldn't have afforded otherwise.
He says he learns from me,but has taught me more than I could ever repay. Last year he gave me a 10' jon boat that he didn't want anymore.I'm at a loss on how to thank him.
Sometimes it seems I'm blessed with more than I deserve.
