Adding Structure to public lakes

Morning everyone, What can a person do (legally) to add some structure to a public lake. Can you make cribs and or brush piles and sink them? Are there some type of regulations concerning this? Thanks for your time.

I have dune it in the past but i was told it was illegal so i quit.Probably should contact DNR to be safe.

Almost any thing you do to change the stucture of a lake is illegal. You might try writing a letter to the Dnr, suggesting some stucture to be added. In my home town they add many large cement and board type things.
