Going to traverse area this weekend, anyone know the ice condition on
Green Lake, Long Lake, and Lake Leelanau? Also, how has the fishing been on these lakes? Thanks for your help

Long L. has good ice, and if you're looking for 'eyes the size of large perch you will have fun. Don't expect a wallhanger (or even a keeper for that matter). Out of 14 fish I had one over 15".

I know all about the small eye's on Long Lake, I have got into some of those small ones. However, I have seen several large ones come out of there.

Anything happening on Lk Leelanau?

How about it? Anybody else from travese area that can give a report on ice conditions.

Went to Green Lake last nite, and it was slow, and I mean VERY slow. In 3hours of fishin' we got 12 smelt, and 1 perch.

West Bay in TC has ice, and A LOT of people. They are getting perch( alot of small ones) cisco, whitefish, and burbut. I also heard that Lake Leelanau is slow for the eyes'.
