Looking for resorts in Iron Mt Area...

I am looking for a good clean family/kid oriented resort in the Iron Mt area. Why Iron Mt area? Half way for family from Nodak to meet us , but 50/75 miles either way from IMT on #2 works.

Looking for nice clean place where sis in law will feel comfy with 5 month old. A place where 3 kids (3,9, & 11) can swim and be kids. A place where I can maybe take em tubing behind boat. And of course, decent fishing for northerns/smallies, etc... My boat is a 16.5' Deep V. Any suggestions will be appreciated. I have done a search of such lakes as Peavy Pond, Michigamme resiovoir, but not finding much... So again looking for suggestions! Kinda like the looks of Edgewater Cabins, any comments on that place???

gee tough call with that range(50or so miles east or west of iron mountain)chicaguan lake,fortune lakes,lacvieux,etc all have nice places..lac o seaseons on stanley lake is nice, as is michaho resort between way dam and peavy....lake mary,emily,golden.....indian head resort on 1000 island is great(cisco chain)..lots have game rooms, pools etc....mind you, i have not been to many of these places in several years....Having to choose with the conditions u prescribe..i think indian head would b my choice..swimming,game room, resort is on a peninsula..the cisco chain has 7 or so lakes, 1000 island lake has a myriad of islands(as its name suggests)..the number of fish species and kinds of fishing avaiable is mutiplistic...wild berrys(IF TIMING IS RIGHT) are available to b picked along roadside.adult wise..a casino is a few minutes into watersmeet, north american game animals zoo(wisconsin) is 30 minutes away..sylvan tract for hiking is next door etc....albeit, its on the outer limits of your 75 mile limit west of iron mountain
