My Introduction

My name is Eric. I am 21 years old and live in Ionia, Michigan. I don't hunt, just fish. I fish for whatever I can in my area. Which usually includes trout in local rivers and streams, bass, panfish, and whatever else I can get. Outside of fishing, I attend Grand Rapids Community College full time and watch Stock car racing.

Welcome to the site. You seem slightly one-sided but I'm sure this site will enlighten you so that you can become a really rounded person. :p In fact I am one of the roundest guys here. Thats not to infer that I do a lot of things, just that I'm round.:D

One Sideded? Explain so I may defend myself. ;) If you mean because I dont hunt I will explain. Growing up I never had any to take me hunting up here. My parents divorced when I was 4/5 and within a few years he moved down to KY, where he lives now. He has taken me small game twice which I enjoyed. So I may someday take up small game hunting but that would be most likely all.

Thanks for giving us some info Eric. Of course I've seen your name around the site and I think we've exchanged a PM or two. I went to GRCC when it was called Grand Rapids Junior College.

There used to be some excellent, small creeks that dumped into the Grand R. They contained a population of native brook trout.

Assuming you're not a Scott Riggs fan, it's time to change your avatar!!;) Don't worry about being one-sided. I used to hunt but while I sat in my blind, I kept wondering what was going on in the river. I just enjoy fishing more I guess.
