anybody fishing flat rock? I am going later this week. I'll post after my trip, but I am wondering if anybody has been there lately.

Hello Mark,

Been there about 6 times the previous 2-weeks looking for cats and found everything but cats. Also saw many anglers with: walleyes, quillbacks (1), rock bass, sunfish, white bass (5), smallies, small largemouth (1), carp, a few bullheads. About 3-4 weeks backs, saw a few anglers with some nice steelheads but haven't seen any of late.

Regards,
Luc

Graysteel, where abouts were you fishing in the Huron River?

I don't think you may want to go down to Flat Rock anytime soon. I was by there yesterday before this last round of rain and the place was FLOODED big time. They had the bridge going across the river closed off because the otherside of the river was not there :yikes: The playground and everything was under about 3 feet of water. You could see just the tops of the picnic tables. It looked like the water was just a few feet under the bridge. The whole way down to Lake Erie, the Huron was over its banks and into peoples back yards. I would hate to see it today.

I wouldn't doubt it. Never fished there but have been in the area before. I'm wondering how Luna Pier is right now, that's where I usually fish. I wouldn't be surprised if the water is pretty high there but the shoreline by the peir isn't too overly high as of this past Thursday morning.
