Metro, Genos and Crocker Saturday am....
Slow, slow, slow.
Not much happening in the AM from sun up til noon.
Water is not clear with best visability about 2 to 3 feet in close.
Managed to bring home only six nice perch out of twenty, or so.
Minnows on small gold teardrops or glow w/black jig head.
Wind really picked up for the few shanty chasers.

There is open water from the Clinton down to the Metro canal.
Be careful out there.

Ice was smooooth with no slush on top.

May try again on Sunday ???

Yeah, no problem there. The whole area was tight
The open water is from the Clinton river and has just opened up a bit further south around the point at Metro.
I really don't think anyone will be trolling on a floe just yet.
Be safe and carry your safety gear with you.

Their must still be a few inches because I saw a full size van on the ice today.
