Well I have not been catching many fish (just ask WDGibby) but caught and RELEASED this 'whale' today.

Biggest gill I have ever caught and first Master Angler award for me!:cool:

Thats gill looks only 9 and half inches to me :D But whos counting?:eek:

Was it realy a nice fish?Well one way to know for sure.If it didnt bite you when you removed the hook then it was a nice fish.:D

The pic does make it look like 9 1/2" .... however it must have something to do with the angle of the pic. With the fish placed on the ruler, from the tip of mouth to the pointed end of the table was in fact 10".

Come on guys leave the man alone its close enough to 10 inches :D Its sure a nice slab..... way to go and just think next year he will be even BIGGER !!!
