When you say "Lower Part of MI" where are you looking to go?
I do know someone who may be able to help, but he is in the Saginaw area.

What are you looking for big walleye, just average eating walleye? I am not a guide but I might be able to give you some good leads around the Saginaw bay and river area. If you hit Otsego lake(Gaylord) or Houghton lake (Roscommon) just right you can do well on average size walleye. Saginaw Bay would be the spot to go for large walleye, you will need a snowmobile or four wheeler to fish it.

Hey Birddog, you are from the UP. My kid brother married into a "Yooper" family from Calument. They go out on the big water and bob for lakers & fats and he really does know where to get the nice brookies but he can't seem to get a lead from them on the walleye's. VERY tight lipped bunch he thinks!!! He's tried to weasel info out of them at family parties but he can never remember what they've told him when the party breaks up 3 days later!
