Where did all the fish go???????
Fished with my daughter from 7:30am till 11:30....ended up with 4 fish, and 3 of those came from 1 school. Didn't even see that many going by..
Fished off of anchor bay drive... over by the West end of shantyville and in close to jiggers...Talked to a few guys and the word was the same...nobody was seeing fish.
The ramp is still in real good shape with no open water around it.
Went by crocker in the pm and talked to 6 guys... 5 fish was the most anyone had.. 1 guy said that he had an aquaview down and was seeing quite a few fish, but they had lockjaw. He was in 9' FOW. Lots of dinks coming of the wall at becon cove , 6" and smaller... The ramp looks pretty messed up...There were only a couple of 4x4 trucks parked out there... Quads are still getting out too...
Checked out S river by Harley this morning.....Quite a few guys out in the bay, no one is hitting any fish though, talked to 3 guys and one dude had 8...all about 7". The river is starting to open up, still upsteam, but I would say that the ice is going to be bad on the river by Sun. or so..... IMO
Best report.....St. Lukes....8 miles out in 16 FOW. Seen with my own two eyes.... 3 buckets of 11 to 14" fish...120 for 4 guys yesterday. Said they have been pounding them for a week now...Hope they are headed over here soon!!! I really need to get a quad!!!!
