Joeker, I'm a Sr. Buyer for an automotive supplier of injection molded parts. My office is out of Sterling Heights.
Part of my responsibilities are to go on "plant tours", some times these plant tours take me to LSC, Lake Huron (summer time), I also seem to have a lot of "tours" in Erieau in July. Most of my "tours" are on Monday's and Fridays.
Just coincendences.
Unfortunately, I couldn't find an associate to go on my "Plant tour", this a.m. Good thing, looking out the window here, I can see that the weather is really terrible out here (sarcasm).

We got all but 2 of the fish in a different spot.
It was nice not having to move all morning even though the bite was slow.
We fished from 7-2:30 straight out from Genos in 10-11 FOW
The warter was foggy but started to clear up towards the end of our day, seemed like the clouded warter may have been a plus.

Hey W. C. nice chattin' with ya this morning. I took off at 10 to pay my "NO HELMET" ticket that I got two weeks ago.
JUST A HEADS UP TO EVERYONE......$95.00 FINE !!!! BRING IT AND WEAR IT CUZ THEY WILL GET YOU !!!!
Anyway I had 4 fish then. I came back around 2:30 or so and fished till about 4 and never had another hit. I moved all around all over the place in out right left up down......
NOTHING !!
I went home with a soaker from the rain. Seems like when the sun went away they really shut down. Good luck if you go this weekend, I can't get away till possibly Sunday late afternoon maybe.
Good Luck Guys !! :D

You shoulda fought it.....half the time them DNR guys even dont even show up.....and about 25% of the time the judges around here dont' give a crap and dismiss it anyhow....they think the DNR should be up north or worrying about illegal fishing, going over limit etc instead of wasting their valuable time being traffic cops....and thats info from a judge while "off duty".......just for kicks...if you did fight it and lost who was the judge?

Ehh Neversunk. I just paid it but maybe I should have fought it like you said and took a chance at the guy not showing up. The worst part is that I lost my helmet the night before and didn't realize it till I got to the launch the next day when I got caught. So I had to go buy a new helmet on top of the ticket

Where did you get the no helmet ticket? I have rode right by the DNR at Croker with 2 up on a quad and neither of us wearing a helmet.

Oh dude....that totally sucks.....I bet the judge woulda cut you some slack on something like that......the shame of it is I don't think theres even a "standard" for a helmet for what we use them for....a plastic bucket over your head mighta gotten you past the judge.....maybe I'm wrong on the "standard" part though.....but I'd still bet the judge woulda been better to you than the girl at the window that accepts your check......
