Well guys here goes.
Started off at DRN/Crocker Launch at 5:00am met up with Tube Jig.
He dragged my stuff out, thanks Tube Jib didn't really realize what you had done for me, untill I had to drag all my %&%%@ stuff back at 4:00 pm.
Ed Michrina came out at about 11:30 am or so, he was still going at it when I left. He called me a wimp for leaving
Thanks guys for joining my adventure
Here's the count threw 8 back, too small (Less than 8")
2 ........ 13" ers
2 ........ 12" ers
6 ........ 11"ers
5 ....... 10" ers
4 ....... 9" ers
19 total.
Have to admit Ed donated four, and Tube Jig donated four to the Tin Can Yummy Tummy Charity. (Thanks Guys)
Tube Jig caught the 13 inchers.
Fished straight out from Gino's, moved five times, by the time the day ended for me at 4:00 pm, most fish were caught in the am, and mid day.
Used minnows and wigglers both seemed work the same.
I think we would have caught more, but Tube Jig seemed a little reluctant to donate another finger for bait.
What a day to fish, no wind, and 32 degrees.

Was the bottom of the launch frozen over? I'm pulling the three wheeler out and was wondering if I should haul the trailer or just find a way to tie all the gear down. Thanks.....

Good job Tin Can!! Sounds like you have a meal at least. Gotta love those fish, boy they're pigs!! I haven't hit them as well as most, but you can't ask for a better average. Gonna be a long wait to go again.

Gunrod, the bottom of the launch was soft, water, about I would guess 8" deep, I stepped in the water to clean my boots off.
Ya, Ficious gonna be good, all in all it was a great day with great company

Thanks.....sounds like I will be leaving the trailer in the lot and just driving the trike. It's just me so I will be fine. Now how to get the 3 wheeler back on the trailer myself is another question?:D

Back the trailer down to the ice, the slope of the ramp should be steep enough that when you back it in to the ice, rear of trailer should be low enough to drive three wheeler right on.
Of course I have no idea what your trailer looks like.

Your dam right I was reluctant. I have paid enough blood money already this year and ofcourse I get nothing in return. Kind of reminds me of my federal taxes. It was good to see you out there this morning, and if I happen to be out there when you are, I will gladly pull your stuff out again.
Ed, good to see you out there today. How did you end up?

Tj -Tin can and Eric's neighbor Tim. Great to see ya all. I moved in and got 5 quick ones, Then my fishing buddy Ken Showed at my shanty. all I heard is lest move out over and over. so we did. we ended up with 8 on top the the 5 no real hogs some 12's 11''s and 10's Ken got one throw back. I am going to attempt to try a first light bite 1/4 mile out , Wednesday. I will keep ya posted.
Good seeing ya Ken (tj) and tin can . Don't worry Eric I won't tell anyone, you built your self up to an all day fish (light to dark) and you started to cry around 2 pm. -- I esp. won't tell that you got no phone calls from home, you were sitting in a heated shanty with a custom seat-- had lots of beer/minnows left. and the little fact you exited Just before the night bite. ..... If anyone else but Tin Can (Eric) read this . Disregard it. ;) Fun time all ! Next time I'll bring out My CD player and erics fav. cd, spunge Bob Square pants!! __Kidding Eric. Fun time you didn't miss much.

If Ken (Tube Jig) would have just given me a little piece of his finger for bait I would have stayed longer.
Yep, it was fun.

Excellent idea. Thanks, that should work well and keep me dry if that slot at the bottom of the ramp is open.

gunrod, sorry about missing your question on the ramp. I drove accross it with my bike, there are some frozen spots to go on.

Gunrod,
Back into the parking spot and use the curb as step for the trailer. My dad does that with his machine and trailer and never has a problem. It helps that his trailer is almost even with the curb though.

Thanks....turns out that I woke up at 7am not feeling too well. Unless that changes in the next hour or two I won't be heading out. It doesn't look good.
I'll use the great advice for next week though.
