Minnows for perch and pike and walleye, red spikes and waxworms for everything else.

BIG Bluegills , like wigglers best I think. one single spike just bearly hooked under the skin on the head end #2 & small waxworm #3.

Pike: Golden Shiners or Blues on Tip-ups
Crappie: I take what I can get on waxies, but use small minnows on either tiny treble or glow in the dark teardrop hookedthru the back. I PREFER MINNOWS FOR SPECKS
Gills: teardrops w/waxies

Minnows for Crappie, walleye, Pike and waxworms for blue gill in the winter.

Summer I troll for walleye using Long A Bombers and use half a night crawler on a bait holder hook for panfish.

Perch minnows for Crappie - glow in the dark teardrop, hooked through the back.

Golden Shiners or Sucker minnows for Pike.

Minnow on a treble hook for Walleye - Canadian style, with a spool of line, a piece of black electric tape, and a willow stick!

sorry Deputy865 did'nt see that question earlier, Duckslayer is right. larva from a fly, a maggot, there not really that dirty when there produced for bait, in sawdust. I have already used 6000 so far this year, I have 2 boys that sometimes fish with me. I only use them during ice fishing then switch to waxworms in the spring or a small peice of worm.:)
