I hope to make it out. I am fishing Fairhaven tomorrow so I will have a ton of work to get done Wednsday. If I get all caught up I will be out for part of the day.

I couldn't get out today so I'll definitely be out tomorrow. I'm not leaving downriver until about 9 or 10am and plan to stay until or thru dark.

Planning on getting out around mid-day, and sticking till later afternoon/early evening. Would go earlier if it was just me... Oh well...She deserves a chance too :)

Wow, what a warm day. The shanty became a hot box once the sun came out. :cool:
I caught about 30-40 fish, 6 keepers, the biggest was 10". I saw a lots of fish, only a few hogs.

I heard I'llbeoutside and TrailFndr on the radio.

Though I didnt bring home much, it was a great day to be on the ice and I think a lot of other people thought the same. I stopped counting groups of people/shanties at 150. :eek:

Heres my afternoon report= 3 keepers after about 3 hrs and 6 or 7 moves. Its alright tho what a great day to be outside.
Trailfinder it was good to talk to you, hopefully you had better luck than I did. I agree about all the shanties, doesnt any body work anymore! LOL

i was out to the south of the pack... got to talk to a couple of people from the site thru out the day... had to move around alot but later in the day after talkin to Fish Tales(forgive me if wrong name, meds kickin in.. ) for a while, thanks for the bigger minnows too, moved out in the pack and right at dark had some really fast action, the guys around me in about a 30 yd circle were really gettin some hogs, i ended up leavin with 14, only 1 bein 12", rest were 8-10".... perch colored jiggin rapala with a minnow on the treble hook was my hot bait, alot of the guys around me were only usin minnows... will be headed back out saturday or monday

Fasteight, That was me, glad to hear you got into some better fish.
I will probably be back out there on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, depends on the weather and the wind.
The warmer temps look nice, but without a shanty the wind can get brutal.
