au sable - 4/16 to 4/20

Sorry for late notice just got back. Went out on the au sable with my buddy from Georgia - trying to get him his first chromer. I got one Monday and went dry until Thursday and got one Thurs. Went 1 for 3 friday. He never got his - oh well had a riot. Water temp was cold (42-45) and very few fish on redds.

thanks. quite a few fish but scattered. figure the rain and warm weather the past day or so may bring another run up - high banks had lots of people friday when we left - we caught most of ours toward the dam

A redd is like a fish "bed". where the female makes a round circle and spawns (lays her eggs)
