Saginaw Bay Shanty's

A few years ago I heard of a bait shop that set up shanties and rented them out. They were heated and gave you a ride out. Is anyone familiar with this? I dont have an atv or sled, could be a long walk:)

Steve - I think I recall hearing something about that too, but it was back in the mid - late 80's. I don't recall the baitshops name but I remember hearing about some rental shanties placed over by Wicks Park.

I haven't fished the river in a long time so I'm looking forward to the outing next weekend!!!

There is a guy at fish point that does what you are looking for. I had his card around somewhere. If someone don't come up with the imfo. for you I will look for it. I think he charges $75 a day per day and thats ride out, heated shanny, lunch, bait and even gives you a ride back. At lease that is what I remember.
