pike/catfish lakes for the central counties

I was wondering what the good lakes/rivers to fish for pike/catfish, are located in the central counties, mecosta,midland,newyago, etc.

although i am not a pike fisherman per say, hess lake in
newaygo is an excellent lake for pike. it's a shallow lake with lots of vegetation. in the winter, 30" and up pike are taken thru the ice. try the far east side near a small outlet. hope this helps.
