the river - thursday AM 2-5-04

I'll be up by the Z bridge in the AM tomorrow, I would like to fish downriver in bay city but don't know much about the locations and safe paths on the ice. Should have my radio on 7-0 but that channel has been annoying for some reason with all the clutter for me? fish trap pro, purple hand auger thats me!

Scotty; I just got back from the Z bridge. Got 1 [20"] thats the only bite that I got. I went to Gander to check out there fish Traps. I'm looking for a bigger one, after I sell my Fish trap2. A guy brought two hogs in and said he miss another one. He just got in from the bay about 4 miles out.
I was thinking on trying up toward Bay city also, maybe tomorrow afternoon. Good luck tomorrow.

Came home early again. Sorry SlimJim I missed you. Fished 6:00am to 9:30 with 1 bite that I missed. Did not see any fish on the ice.
