Wife had the stomach flue so I spent most of the day taking care of her. However I did manage to get out for two hours in the am from 7:30-9:30 and from 4:30 till 6ish. My results were up and down. This morning I set up and used my flash to illuminate a small white and orange dot cleo. Sent it to the bottom and BAM hooked a very good walleye right away. However my leader promptly broke (first time this has happened) and I lost it within two feet of the hole. I took out another rod and used the same glow cleo but two sizes larger. Ten minutes later I took a 4 1/2 lb walleye and was able to get this one out no prob. Took some dinks (5 or 6) and several large perch but all on the cleos. Bl/sil Gr/sil white with orange dots.......
In the vening everything came on the cicadas or a cicada nock off. brass/orange no keepers in the evening (although I had one about 16 inches or so I just dont have the heart to keep those little guys) caought about 6 fish total in the evening.
I have not been doing well in the evening on the river (no size anyway) can someone help me out with some thoughts on where to go in the eveing?
ps I was at the ind bridge.
