Just went outof the north end at noon and its still very slushy. Good news is pretty much follow any snowmobile/atv tracks and you should be OK. You get off any beaten path and plan on 10 inches of slush. Fishing was vry slow out in front of the North State Park for both lakers and perch from the 6 fisherman I talked too. Snowmobiles are doing the best in getting around as there does seem to be a slight frozen layer that just keeps the sled above most slush but two guys on sled and it sinks and pulling any heavier shanty is not good either. Talked to a guy that had no problem with himself but tried another guy along with him and the got into the slush.
