looking for information on chippewa lake

i was wanting to go fishing on chippewa lake this week and i was just looking for information on chippewa lake .............how thick the ice is or how the fishing is........thanks travis

I have not been there this year yet. I heard that the ice is about 8". As for catching fish I have not heard any rave reports at all this year. It always has seemed a bit overrated to me for ice fishing. But there are some who don't do to bad out there. I am not sure about chip but most of the lakes around here have quite a bit of snow and slush on the ice. Making for hard traveling.
