Can anyone give some ideas on where to fish through the ice for steelhead? I've never done it before and would like to give it a try.

Try any of the drowned rivermouth lakes in West Michigan near the river-mouths. Creek mouths off of some of the bigger rivers that get good ice are also good bets to try. Muskegon Lake, White Lake, Stoney Lake, Pentwater Lake, Pere Marquette Lake, Manistee lake, East Lake, Betsie Lake, etc..

One of them places? I thought I'd call some bait stores near those drowned river mouth lakes listed above in the thread and find out where its going on:)
