Memorial Park and marinas

Went out to Memorial Park this morning, could see the shanties at Ginos but the similarity ended there. We had 3 shanties, mudded, walked almost 2 miles out looking for the "ghost" weedbed, and never saw or hit a fish or weed. That's one big sand flat!! Pulled out at 10 and went to the marinas. At the end of the day, N_O, my son and I got 46 perch 8-12, and 17 sunnies. Saw some nice fish, but couldn't get them to go.

Will try Gino's later this week I hope. Ice was 10-12", 1/4 mile from the ice piles in front of Memorial. Hopefully this saves someone else some wasted time. Maybe if we had found the ghost........

guys got into some fish today, that was a nice long walk, but being out there during the sunrise was worth, pleasure meeting you...i am sure we will fish together again

We'll do it again, with better results. Hope to get out later this week. We got some fish, but we had to work for them. Don and my son saw nice fish, but they were curious, not hungry. Nice to meet you guys, maybe in a couple of weekends when I get my parole again........
