Brest bay marina

I went by there the other day and the gate was closed but their were trucks in the lot.

So the question is how dose one get into the lot?
Is there a price for parking?
Can one fish that area without an ATV?

Maybe they were closed by the time you got there?

I stopped by there last week before 5 p.m. and the gates were open. The bait shop was open too. Saw only 2 guys on the ice. They were fishing in front of the marina about 50 yds off shore. (high winds)

I'm not sure if they charge for parking...I didn't see any signs.

They open at 8am. It may be closed during the week once in a while. If you are wondering, you could call ahead. They have minnows raps, pimples and all the other stuff, so they have to open sell all that stuff!! They don't charge to park as far as I know.

I've been told you need a key if the gate is closed. When you're inside and want to go out, you drive up close to the gate and the electric eye let's you out.

There's a button just inside (north side) you push to get out but too far away to push to get in.

dan is right, when they're open the gate is open. but when they are closed u need a key, and the only way to get a key is to have had your boat docked at their marina over the summer. we had our boat there this past summer and they gave us a key to get in before or after theyre open. if youve never had your boat there then u wont be able to get in.
