Read Michigan's DNR report DNR report (http://www.michigan.gov/dnr/0,1607,7-153-10364-34956--,00.html) and decided to try Lake Erie Metropark. Fished from 2:30 till 5:45 without a bite. Fished about 20' off boat ramp in 3' of water. It looked like a Shappell 3000 showroom, there was 3 of us out there and we all had 3000's. Was gonna give Breast bay a shot this morning but after seeing the AM wind chill factor and reading the slow to no bites report from the bay I figure todays a good day to catch up on house work. Pre- Superbowl fishing Breast Bay Sunday morning. Fish have got to turn on soon......

i too was out there with my son. in my hunting blind w/ heater. "nothing"!!!!!! the only fish around there was the shinners we used for baite. i also went by brest bay, there was about 6 trucks at the marina, we didn't stop to fish cause i left the 4 wheeler at home. those guys were way out there. if you find a good spot in your adventures let me know. i will deffinately do the same. good luck to you my friend!!!!

I was out that way last night and no one was doing any good. For almost 2.5 hours and no bites. I even waited until after dark before leaving.

I was thinking about driving down there myself a couple days ago, guess I'm glad I didn't. Did anyone try the marina area?
