Higgins Lake Trout

Has anyone been to or heard anyhtjing going on at Higgins Lake?? I know the ice has only been gone about a week and a half. The trout should start coming into the shallow now. Any report would be appreciated.

I got a cabin up there, I'll talk to my neighbor next time I am up and I will let you know. My guess is, the surf fishing should be picking up for browns, as well as trolling for browns/bows in the shallows. no clue on the lakers as of yet. stick with the north end of the lake, the south end has not been producing in the last 5-10 years as well as the north end.

I guess I should have worded that different. The title sounds like I am looking for information on Lake Trout, in fatc as Ladykiller provided I am looking for information on Trout in Higgins Lake. Thanks!
