Help for Chapped Lips

The old Prospecter rode his Mule to the Trading Post one cold winter day, tied up the Mule and walked back and lifted up it's tail, stuck in his index finger, pulled it out and wiped it on the outside of his mouth. The shopkeeper saw what the prospecter had done and when he came in he said " YUCK that is the worst thing I ever seen anyone do. Why would you do that?"
The old boy say's "Cause I got Chapped lips."
Shopkeeper; " You telling me that will cure Chapped lips?'
Prospecter; .... "Nope, but it will keep you from Lickin them.
