How is the almighty perch lake doing this year?
My brothers father and I have been going to Lake Simcoe for the last couple of years and had alot of luck. Dad started going along time ago but he has taken us along the last 4 years or so. We usually rent shanty's which may not be the best way to get your limit but it is comfortable and fun. This year we are talking about going out with some guy and fishing maybe on our own so that we can move with the fish. We arent really sure what we are going to do yet but we are going the weekend of the 20 and 21 of february.
Im just wondering if anyone has any suggestions about what to use or how deep or where to go on the lake. I have heard that wax worms are doing really well this year and even perch eyes but im just wondering if anyone has some insight if they could please fill me in.
We tried those wigglers last year because everyong was talking about them but they didnt really work to well. If you have gone there or have some advice id be thankful for it.
