It was a waste of time. Started at 0800 200 ft past the pier and north...nadda.....went as far out as the furthest shanty..maybe a 1/2 mile and into 6 feet of water. There was a current....and only 3 schools came into the hole from 0900 to about 1130 with no jumbos in the schools. My propane heater would'nt keep running right...so I went in with only 6 fish and nothing over 8 inches. The ones that came in were agressive though and hit equally on wigglers and minnows. I threw back about 15 smaller fish. A mudpuppy came in and the fish left...later a crawfish came in and the fish left too...I chased each away but dunno how far they went outa my sight. Guys I talked to on the way in said they never saw a fish. The water was clear enough to spear in 6 feet. No pike seen.....Glenn
