Hit the ice First light with JEFFK . Great fishing with ya Jeff.

The bite was slow but the perch were big. Jeff left at 2 pm (smart man) I cleared out 2 hrs later. I'm not sure what Jeff ended up with but he Got the big ones of the day. I ended up with a few bags of perch and a walleye. I also lost a walleye and saw 2 others. I had a avg. size pike snap my hook at the hole and both Jeff and I were harassed by a musky that must have went 30lbs or more. That may have been what shut our perch down?? It was an AM bite. Talking with guys on the ice the eyes were on the bite all day. not numbers but all times of day.
My neighbor fished my holes from the time I left unitl dark. Nothing.{ Jeff I only got 2 fish for 2 hrs. after you left.

The first light was Sun and the water was clear. After noon It was the clouds moved in and due to the depth It was no longer a sight fish.

And for you that have GPS #'s 42.33'439 082. 49'198. Now that is from an OLD gps so don't blame me if you drive into the Ditch:eek: Just keep in mind that is a large weed bed, it runs from that poing, to Metro point on an (out) angle and even towards the 400 club . It's an average spot. I'll be looking for a better one Sat AM . JMO I think the Big Eye's are a mile or more out. good luck All Photos to follow.

I did get a bump on my 2 way, but I left it in the bucket outside and I think it froze my bat's . I also heard some one calling MS.com but my radio was dead. By the way My Camera was froze when I took the home photos ? First photo is at noon and second at home.

Hey Ed... I called Jeff on his cell while you guy's were out. I told him to send me a picture of today's catch. Here's what he sent me... He hasn't quite figured out the picture posting part yet, so I'm helping him out a bit...

Just want to thank Ed for showing me where he fished the other day and tell ya'll that it was alot of fun. The perchin wasn't frantic but when I did get one on it was a biggin. Sew fish of almost all species. I just couldn't get the Walleye to bite. And that Muskie, WOW!!! what a huge fish. I sew him at about 3 inches away from my lure and got my baits the heck out of there. All in all a great morning on the pond. Hope to do it again soon Ed. PM me next time you go, I'll bring the beverage this time. :D

OK Ed, that's it! When are you taking me along? I think I might just have an ATV in my near future (trying to avoid a heart attack dragging all that crap). If I can make the outing Sunday, maybe you could give me some tips. I can tell you everything I know about ice fishing in one sentence! :p BTW coordinates.............Let's just say I'm a bit surprised. ;)

Al the walleye hit a minnow and hook. I had one on on a sweedish pimple. Talked with a guy using just a spoon and bead and he had a nice eye in his bucket.

UH, I think that just might be west. Ed is a true ice fisherman and doesn't mind a long hike but I doubt very much it is E.
