Just got back from fishing my lake(magician lake). Hooked into some nice crappies right before sun down. Extremely aggresive fish were prowling the weed flats and the weed lines. I caught most of my fish in about 5-10 ft. of water. I also managed to hook about 20 red ear sunfishes for some odd reason. I didn't even know they were in this lake(must have stocked them to counteract the zebra mussels over population). Anyway bass are still in pre spawn mode and seem to be feeding aggressively in 7-15 ft. of water. I got some nice keeper quality bass but let all of the fish caught this evening go. Fatheads, and baby goldies were key to hooking into big crappie tonight. If this weather stays good i may go out tommorow morning for some more fun on my ultra light.

See ya on the water,

Mark:)
