I haven't fished it in a couple years , but I have fished it a couple times. I prbably had more fun fishing that lake than any I ever fished. We caught numerous perch all day long and a couple hours before dark starting cathcing walleye left and right. Most were small , but it was a lot of fun. On top of the perch and walleye we caught 4 pike on tip-ups , the biggest being 34 inches.

When you get off of I-75 and go straight to the lake it was the launch right by the bait stores right there. I don't no if thats the state park or not. We were northeast of that launch about a 1/4 mile in front of the cottage I was staying at.

My shack is on the north-east corner and the bite has been terrible for the last 10 days (thinkin' bout movin to another spot) and fishin on weekends is not the answer either.....WAY to many sleds out for me. The St park, Arbutus Beach, Wa Wa Soo access's are some points to get on but it's a city at every one of em'..... stay away from the crowds and you can pick up a couple of "EYE's" the last hour of light ;) The mornings have been slow ... I've got about 15 buds who have'nt been doin so hot out there either so I'm not the only one:(
