As I look through the posts, I see that most are from people that plan to attend. I am wondering: how can we get the word out concerning the outing this summer? How can we let more people know about what is going on? Maybe I am thinking too fantasical, I would like everyone here to attend..... Any info and suggestions would be appreciated!!

Hunter 333,
My feeling is that to get more members to attend, we need to have things going on that will be of interest to them. It is one thing to go to an outing just to meet-in-person the people that you correspond with on the site. It is totally another thing to go to an event because there are activities going on that are of interest, or a chance to learn some new skills. What we need (my opinion) is a variety of clinics. By looking at the kinds of questions that people bring up in the various forums, it will be fairly easy to determine the subjects that will be of interest. Then, we would need to set up some schedule of the events that would be taking place so that they are not all going on at the same time with nothing going on the rest of the time.
Just some thoughts.

I agree with Salmonsmoker, but don't know how we can get everything coordinated. You know one way would be to get the moderator's of each forum involved and get them to organize something for their specialty.
??????????????
Getting comittment is a little like asking what they like best about the outdoors. you get lots of answers and very little clear information.
A way to have everything work is to have stations and schedule groups that will rotate from station to station, with a team of 2 or three people who run each station. They would be able to rotate their stay so they could enjoy the other stations too.
Now we are getting completely away from the theme of "kiss" but also making it possible to appeal to a greater number and more diverse crowd.
I have already offered to help and would take part in a station (Trap or Rifle please) if needed. I think it will be fine though, if we do pretty much like last year, for one or two more outings. It was major fun and not much hassel. Again, though, I'm in for whatever.
