I believe it is a private lake, so directions doesn't help much unless they are followed by come on over! LOL if not, i apologize if there is public access.

Yes, that lake is most definitely private. I know someone who knows someone (one of those deals) that occasionally gives him access and whenever he goes out there he gets some monster bluegills...

no sutton lake is not a private lake if you stop at one of the store on north territorial rd out by dexter they have maps of all the lakes out there i would tell you but i dont know the names of the rds

That's interesting....I've been led to believe differently by many many different people....I'll have to look into that. Maybe it's one of those deals where legally speaking it's "public" because it has inlets from springs/streams, but there's not really any legitimate public access, like some other lakes in the area.

Well, is it or isn't it private? I need some directions to bait shops around that area. Fished South Lake for gills and drove all over looking for wax worms. lol.

Mill Creek Sporting Goods store in dexter is a decent bait shop.

Honestly though, unless someone else here posts an address or GPS coordinates to a legitimate public access point, don't waste your gas on the drive over, because I would be shocked (but pretty excited) if such access existed.

I drive by this lake every day to and from work. Looks like it would be a great place to fish. It is very rare I see anyone on it summer or winter . But as far as I have heard it is private

I have spoke with several people trying to get access but as the saying goes " Its not what you know its WHO you know
