Simcoe: Oh-Ah!

Just returned from the canadian ice. Good trip and lots of ice. Well worth the trip. Sure beats sitting on the Sag bay catching nothing.

Your right Trango. When Simcoe is good to you, she is good to you. We did well this weekend too. Came back with our limits. Where abouts did you fish?

Did you use a hut operator? If so who did you use...I'm very interested in making a trip, but I have never been.

Fished out of virginia beach. We drove ourselves out near the end of the island. Bunch of guys did good out past the pressure crack. best thing to to is look for the medium group of guys out by themselves. Any kind of hook pretty much worked. There were some monster down there.

Hypox if you have your own gear, your better off staying mobile and not renting a hut. This weekend was one of the best in the last ten years, of going for me, for pure #'s without moving around alot. But we usually cover alot of ice....
