Saginaw River 1-19 W/ Pics

Spent the afternoon at the Bean Tower with my son Jake, his buddy Joe, and we met Steelyhead, Riverboy, and Hoffie1 there. Lots of action! Everyone caught fish! there were probably close to 30 fish landed without a single keeper. The wind was blowing and it was cold and Art still didn't hardly wear any clothes. I still don't know how he does it! There was 6 to 7" of ice. It was a good day to be out with good company. It will only get better from here on out......Patch

hey i see thant i'm not the only one to have problems with little holes in the shanty noticed all the duck tape in the one picture i was in the upper and the wind did an number on my shanty this weekend gonna look like yours soon must have a nice camara those are some nice pictures looks liked you all have fun that's all that matters maybe they will be bigger next year the bigger ones are on thier way have a great day and good luck next time .

SteelyHead, sorry to see you guys got no keepers. Sure did catch a bunch of them though. Won't be long now and the bigger fish should show up.

Fished North of the RR tressle.... 4 fish in the am before work, 7 fish in the pm.. Biggest one was 14". Most of them were about the size of a small perch here in LSC. Still fun to catch fish though. Had a couple of bigger bumps, but didn't hook up. 90% of the fish came on a blu/slv rap tipped with a minnow head.
Ice was about 4" and solid. Hope those big pig eyes show up soon...Need to field test the new gaff!! I'll be back after them on friday..

Nope, after I looked absolutely everywhere out there I gave up hope of finding it. Hopefully whoever found it will turn it in.
