Does anyone know if they are running quads or snowmobiles on Gun yet. Planning on heading there friday after work to fish robbins bay and dont want to walk all the way over there from the state park.. I know most of the lakes in allegan have enough ice for a quad just wondering about gun. Thanks for any feedback.

Hello from Gun Lake. Yes, they are running quads for about a week now on the lake. There have also been a few Ice-shanties out there. We are waiting until the weekend to fish there.
Does anyone know how good the fishing is on and around Gun Lake? We tried middle lake for gills last weekend with just a few nibbles.
We just moved onto the lake this summer, so do not know much about the area.
any info would be appreciated.

I am heading out to robbins bay tommorow after work. I will post how we do and let you know of any action that I hear when im out there. I only know of some gills comming out of the channels a friend of mine landed a 35 1/2 inch pike out of bairds cove last week but that is all i have heard so far.

Fished robbins tonight ended up with on northern 22 inches and 10 gills and spec's caught a few small perch also but other than that pretty slow out there.. Hope you guys do better...

Fished all over the place on Gun today trying to find some decent Perch. We caught a bunch of dinks and never did find a school of keepers.
