I brought my shanty inside to dry all the condensation out of it and look what I found when I can back. She has been begging to go out on the ice with me for a long time now. :)

That's funny.
I remember taking my springer icefishing a few years back. A flag went up and scooter took off after it. ripped the tip-up right out of the hole and kept running:D what got me is he din't even catch the fish:eek: . Also last time he went.

He didn't wait for the pike to stop and swallow it the rest of the way. :) I would love to take her out but I'm afraid of her hurting herself on the ice....wouldn't be able to forgive myself if that were to happen.

Cute pic. She's ready to go fishin :)
Is that the Trap Pro? If so, how do you like it? is it heavy with all the goodies in it? I have a Rover, and after having it for 2yrs, I would like to upgrade. Not alot of room to move around in the Rover, once everything is in place. Seen one at Dicks on sale for $269.99 original price $299.99 Thanks for any info on your shanty.

Yes she's all ready to go. she knows when I pick up the minnow bucket and auger that I'm going for a ride in the truck...which is what I think she really wants. :) I might figure out a way to get her to stay in it when I'm pulling.
The shanty is a fish trap guide. I just took out one seat so it would fit into the trunk of my car a littl better. I'd recommend buying a fish trap. this is my first year with one and I really like it. The set up is really easy. By the time I get four holes drilled and cleaned out my g/f has the thing all set up. It pulls pretty easy if you don't let slush freeze to the bottom.

Hmm. Thanks. Now i'm not sure which one I was looking at. Didn't look at it real close, but I did notice that it had the door and a seat, but not sure if there were two seats or one? LOL But their was alot of room in it, and that is what I need.
Thanks again.

The smallest one is the scout. It doesn't have a door and is a single seater...picked one up today in fact.
The second smallest is the pro and is about 43" wide.
The guide is wide than that but I don't remember the numbers.
Check out this link and you might be able to firgure out which one you were looking at. BTW I'd get one ASAP since the factory is out and won't be making any more until the summer....what I was told anyway.
