I HAD SOME DEER RIBS ONE TIME THAT WERE BBQ. THE RECIPE WAS A UPPER ONE, SLOW COOKED ALL DAY AND THEN COKED IN SAUCE FOR ANOTHER TWO HOURS. MY QUESTION, "DOES ANY ONE HAVE A GOOD RECIPE FOR DEER
RIBS?" I PREFER ONE THAT HAS SOME BROWN SUGAR OR I COULD ADD FOR A LITTLE SWEETER TASTE. THANX:)

Good luck!!!!!!!
I have never had any good deer ribs. Evertime I had them the fat was so bad it would make me sick. Don't get me wrong I love deer meat just not the ribs.

Here is a receipe.
Paprika
cayanne
garlic powder
salt
cracked pepper
liquid smoke
beer
Apple cider vineger
BBQ Moppin Sauce (levi Stubbs)
BBQ Sauce (Levi Stubbs)

Take the ribs and rub them with a capful of liquid smoke. Then take cayanne (lightly), paprika (lightly), galic powder, salt, and pepper and rub into the meat both sides.

Now at this point the ribs are ready to go. You can either place them in a smoker and put beer and applecider vineger in the drip tank with apple braches for smoking or you can do in oven.

For oven take ribs and place them in a shallow pan. Put in a little bit of Apple Cider vineger and beer to fill the bottom of the pan. I place a bay leaf or two in as well then cover tightly with tin foil. Cook at 400 for about 2-3 hours depending on thickness of ribs.
with aobut a half hour left I put on the Mopping Sauce. When done they are fall off the bone. You can finish them on the grill when ever you want to just add the bbq sauce when finnishing.

If you rather have dry rub ribs just skip the sauce's either way you will make others very happy:D

BBQ Sauce

ketchup(about a bottle or two)
little mustard(few squirts)
brown suger(about a cup or two)
garlic(About a table spoon)
worstishire(sp?)(1/4-1/2 cup)
hot sauce(to taste)
honey (about 1/2 cup)
molaces (1 cup?)
crushed red pepper(to taste)

I think that is everything. I dont know the exact measurements of everything. Sorry

Put all ingredients in a sauce pan, Bring to a boil then simmer just long enough to blend the ingredients.
Place ribs in crock pot, Pour on bbq sauce and cook on low for 10-12 hrs.
