UP Trip

My future wife and I are trying to plan our honeymoon. We plan on going to the UP. I was wondering some good places to visit. We plan on going to Fayette and then working our way northwest from there eventually over to the Porkies. I was wondering some interesting things in between. I have already looked at websites so some interesting things that not everyone knows about would be good.we are planning on going in may of 2005. You should be able to catch most of the UPs waterfalls that dry up during the summer. They are great in the spring, it's the best time of year.

I think a Yooper invented the month of May.

You may still see snow fall from the sky.
You may still have left over snow from last November.
You may still have ice on some of the bays.
You may still have temps in the teens.

I've seen it all in May.
