Hi there, I know a lot of poeple don't like to tell where they fish at, but I need help! I don't live near St. Clare, but I am going to give the ice a shot here soon, so where can I go for public access for some perch?
Also any bait shops around there have wigglers yet?
Thanks.

Your in the right place to ask questions. I don't fish LSC until there is a little more ice but these guys will help you out. If you do not know the lake be very careful this time of year. I am sure someone will be happy to point you in the right direction. Welcome and good luck.
marklisten, welcome. I like fairhaven for first ice cause the wind is usually blowing onshore there. it is at the north end of L.S.C. there is a dnr ramp there and a bait shop right next door. aslo down the road is the raft bar, just a couple blocks down. they let you park there for 5 or6 dollars. good burgers & carryout beer:D :D you can see a little grassy island from the raft just to the right of the island is adeeper slot of water, maybe 5-6' deep and is good for pike. i fish right inside that channel in 3-4 fow for perch and the island helps keep the wind down a little. it is no secret, this place so get there early . good luck and hope this helps. also behind ginos by metro can be awsome for perch but i would wait another week or so
