The Bay has ICE!!!

Saw a few guy's yesterday 1/7/04 out about 300 yards in front of McRay's (formerly Bud's) in Fairhaven... Let the Ice Circus commence!!!:D This weekend should be great for 1st ice!!! Come one! Come all!!!

Talked to the guy at the bait shop next door to the launch.
He said the ice blew in tuesday.
I will proable be a mad house since this is only ice being reported
on the pond but I will give it a try sunday.
See ya out there hopefully no Snowmobiles will be buzzing the shanty

Yup, there is a DNR launch approx. 5 miles past Fair Haven near the NE corner of the bay.

Drove by there an hour ago, people out on the bay by the Raft!!!! Wish I was there!!!!:rolleyes:

just got word that Mitchell bay has 2.5 to 3.5 inch as far as the eye can see. should be closer to the 4 inch i'm looking for come Sat or Sunday. ::D

Saw about 50 people on the ice in front of McRay's (Bud's) on my way home from the office... Saturday looks like the best day to start out the season. Sunday will be warmer but windy. Sweeeeeet!!!:D
