If this weather pattern holds as it's looking, I think we'll have alot of hard water action coming up ?? I also do alot of fishing on Devil's Lake out in Lenawee Co. ( Anyone fish this lake much ) ? I'll be talkin to ya all quite a bit about Devil's , I have a cottage there and am ready with my 3 man Frabil. NET !!!!!

current report as of yesterday is complete ice coverage no standing water and 3 inches of semi-honeycombed ice with the coming cold front good ice should be no problem

Gonna be a tricky day on hte ice if it don't form really fast....this part of the state has very little to no ice due to the weather, Should freeze good next week, but, it will still have iffy spots I am sure..

wamplers seems to build ice quite quickly when cold, could have to do with the shallow water, bottom composition and few huge dropoffs with deep water. people have already fished it on hard water this season. i think they will easily be looking at 6 inches or so by jan. 10-11

1shot and bowhunter4life are in it as well, and it is sold out. I may have to go and watch the boys from a nearby wobbly pop establishment....
