Got a question for you guys.. heading to cadillac next weekend for a day trip just wondering if anyone has been there yet this year and have done any good. Thinking of starting out on cadillac lake (north east end) and if that doesn't pay out then well probally head over to mitchell(out from the boat launch by Pilgrams). I have fished both lakes before with limited success if anyone has any info on were we should start out and are willing to share it I would appreciate it. We are going to be fishing for pike, perch and walleye's... Also if anyone knows if the ice is good enough for me to bring my quad with me!!

I would think Pilgrims would give you an answer on if it's safe enough for a quad or not. I've called them in the past and they've been helpful.

Thanks Skunk I will give them a call before I head up there saturday. Just wish we could get some decent ice in allegan so I don't have to travel. Did here from a friend that lives on Pine lake that the last two days they have been fishing in front of his house.

Was on Cadillac on 12-23. 5+ inches of good ice by the docks and boat launch behind the police/fire stations.

By next weekend ... who knows. There should be fishable ice, but, ice for the Quad?? I'd do like Skunk said and give pilgrims a call.

As for fish, saw 3 26-30" northerns landed. No gills, perch or crappies. We were on the ice from only about 8:15 to 10:30. My daughter caught her fish and wanted to go get some food!!

I live in Allegan, Just got back from dropping a buddy of and there is no ice at all anywhere along m-40. Drove down by Emerson and the drive is still blocked from the accident down there last week..
