I found a ameristep harness on ebay

the same strap at Bass Pro in detroit? How much? I'll be going there soon. did they have several of them?

Essentially the same thing as the pictured item. With the exception that there is a belt that you wear and one that you attach to the tree. I discarded the belt that I would wear as I wanted to use my existing harness.

I will be at Bass Pro today so I can check on price and quantity for you.

I like the rope with the cam type snap. Is that what you are talking about?

Yep, that is the one. They had a ton of them for $24.99. Right next to the tree stand displays.
