i fished on it a couple days ago before the warm up and there wasn't safe ice then, so it has to be unusable now. sorry that it isn't better news.

Stopped by there this morning. Nobody on the ice. A few people fishing from the docks, but didn't see anyone bring anything up in the 20 minutes or so that I was there.

Yeah, I'd wait a while with the warm weather coming for the weekend, especially with the deeper water of the boat basin. I know I have a free weekend so I'll don the waders and find a 2-3 foot deep canal...

I stopped by metro and a few other spots (canals) and I couldn't find anybody on the ice. I talked to 4 guys at metro and they were getting a couple of dinks. Not worth the effort......unless you just want to get out of the house.
