chippewa lake hot spots

just wondering if anyone out there has had any luck on chippewa lake? wondering if there are any walleye in that lake also. probably wouldn't be up that way till second week of jan. any info would be greatly appreciated.

Chippewa lake near Remus? If so I used to fish it in college on occasion. Never caught a walleye, but that's not saying they aren't in there (I don't know, maybe check a stocking report on the DNR website http://www.michigandnr.com/fish/fishstock.asp). For walleye it was tough to beat Lake Isabella in that area.

Used to catch some decent gills and heard about nice Northerns, but could never get them to go. Used to park near a public access (marina maybe) and fish a big weed flat-had to find the open pockets and you'd find the gills.
