Hopefully that will change again. Yesterday at this time those days were no warmer than 36 deg. We need more days like it's gonna be from now till this weekend. Freezing all day and night!!!!
I guess my prediction for christmas to be on the ice isn't gonna happen unless there's a miracle.

Yeah yesterday coming across town in all the blowing snow I drove by Kent Lake with my fingers crossed. Unfortunately still looked pretty soft.
Anyway, starting Monday, my shanty and auger and gear stay in the truck - just in case ;)

I am TRYING to not look at the weather report every 15 minutes. So far, I have avoided kicking the dog and yelling at the kids, but if things don't get better, I may no longer be responsible for my actions.

Don't be surprised if all this rain they are talking about comes in the form of a snowstorm. They really have no idea whats going to happen with this next storm.

This will make it a little better. They had 4 days with rain and highs in the upper 40's. I just checked at 1:00 and they have already changed the temps and conditions. Only in the low 40's on Mon, and Tues with a small chance of rain each day. Other than that high's down here only up to 35 deg.
Could be a merry christmas yet.!!!
I want a job that I can change my mind every 3 hrs. and still be wrong %75 of the time and keep my job.;) :p
Come on ICE!!!!!

Stop right there and you've got it dude. :)
Also, I was out fishing on my birthday this year! :) :) :) :) (9th) Ice wasn't too sturdy, but I was on it most of the day off the west shore of saginaw bay. (Walking in, I fell through in about a foot of water - no big deal. I was expecting it as it was in the upper 30s and misting heavily the entire day; it doesn't take much to destroy an inch of ice.)
