I saw half a dozen people on the ice in the yacht club marina that is between the DNR site and the Raft.

Called the bait shop up there this afternoon. About 2" of ice in most of the canals and tough getting on. Getting a few gills and perch, but not much. How much snow fell up there today???

The high winds have raised the lake levels up here (again), covering most canal ice with water. The warmth of the ground and seawalls has the edges without much thickness at all, but just out a bit is walkable. A little spooky looking to me right now.....
Bouvier Bay was ice covered out as far as the eye could see about 4 or 5 days ago. On my way home from work yesterday, all I saw were 3 foot waves pounding the shoreline.

were you out in that marina recently. And if so are you parking on the side of the road and walking through the tall grass.

Checked out most of the canals and marina's around Fairhaven today, from the safety of the car, just driving around, and didn't see a single person on any ice anywhere. This isn't much of a report, but an observation that ice conditions aren't very decent........Today, that is
