Has anybody been fishing northerns lately
Muskegon lake has been serving up some decent catches for me

I have been up to this week....Manistee lake, Mac,Muskegon, and Port sheldon.....I have caught more and larger NOrtherns this year then any other year..Big fish this year all mainly casting...:)

Usually I'm catching alot in the local rivers.This time of year has been traditionally hot with lures.But last summer,the catch & keep,live bait fisherman(keep it all-size doesn't matter)wiped out all my hot spots.I,haven't even had a flash since September,and I fish almost every day.I.caught a few other places,but nothing close to the house.Can't fault a guy for eating,but,I,sure do miss the action.I,had caught & released over 700,in the last 4years,before they disapeared.I'm,sure I,had caught many of them several times a year,year after year.Not even a hammer handle or snake to be found lately.
